In our homeschool group there are many moms who just don't like photo studios. So one year we decided to do something about it and we hired a photographer to photograph our families once a year. This past weekend was our annual family photo shoot. The photographer was very patient and we have some cute photos!
This is the family photo that we decided upon. Cute, but a little predictable. The random ones of the kids turned out so much better.

In case you might be wondering where dear sons individual photo went, he was quite busy looking at caterpillars and beetles and dirt so many turned out as a blur. Oh well! It was pretty typical and enough to make me smile!

Beautiful pictures! I need a new 5x7 family pic, please send me one!!! I have the one with ya'll by the sailboats on my bookshelves in the living room. I love their dresses and ds looks so handsome. Did you get one with just you and hubby?

Ok check out DS shoes in the picture of the boys. It is one of those things that will bug me forever! Or maybe it will become endearing when he actually dresses himself right. On day of said picture he came upstairs and said I'm ready. His shirt was misbuttoned, his tie was clipped to his collar, and his belt was only through one belt loop. I had to redress him from head to toe, but I had a smile on my face because it is just so stinking cute and one day he is so not going to need me for that!
Great pictures! They were really good, the kids are so precious!
