When you feel like a chip, but you know you want something more healthy - what do you do?
Some foods just lend themselves to a crunchy sidekick - sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs...etc. I love me a really good sandwich but to finish it off I want a nice pile of chips - but my waist and my liver are opposed to the idea - bummer! So I went on a chip alternative search!
Here is what I came up with...
honey roasted almonds
and most recently zucchini chips (recipe at end of post) - thanks Aimee!
I put a little on the side next to our chip loving meal and it does the trick every time! Do you have any chip alternatives? My waist and liver would forever be grateful!
Slice zucchini in thin slices. Dip slices in milk next dredge in a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Place on greased cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 400 degrees! YUMMY!
